replacement internal amp for the sub arrives saturday, based on forums it seems like this is not an uncommon issue with this sub model which is ughhhhh because it's the one i want, so hopefully the new amps don't have the problem.

amp replaced, wasn’t too bad, just a cable for the speaker itself and a cable for the power LED to contend with, so sub’s back in action. The other piece of kit is the ifi zen DAC for tidal and my own library
