I don't often revisit the stuff the hard rock station used to play when I was growing up (Metallica, Rush, Dio-- I think you get the picture)
but it can be pretty fantastic when I do
though I find myself pretty indifferent to nicki minaj as a lyricist and cultural institution, I do kinda love those moments where she takes a verse from slow to furiously quick
it feels like some sort of concession or slip of the mask. to what, I'm not sure: anger? the incessant distractions of late capitalism? idk, but they're thrilling moments all the same
