Killing Joke's first album was really damned good.
It's kind of distressing how applicable 80s dystopian punk and industrial are to our present moment.
Anyway, I'm gonna be blasting Skinny Puppy and Killing Joke all day

Dinosaur Jr. Performance and interview with Henry Rollins
Pandora has a few odd consistencies across the various stations I've set up, and one of them is playing Dinosaur Jr.'s tune Lightning Bulb on any of the stations.
This makes me happy
Here's some really good sludge, "The album is about living day-to-day with mental illness, gender dysphoria, and trauma".

it makes me so happy to find trans people in extreme metal.
Shameless ripoff from a tweet by TankCrimes, but:
Boost or reply if you've ever played a show for 10 people or less.
I'll go first: hell yes, multiple shows where those 10 people were in the other bands.
I don't care how shit the opening band is, when they lead you into hand-claps on the chorus, you clap along. it's the law.

Huh, I never knew deftones covered the Cars.
This is amazing.
I think I need a drumkit
Deceptively simple bass lines:
Celebration - Kool and the Gang
Don't Stop Til You Get Enough - MJ
Deceptively challenging bass lines:
September - EWF
Stayin Alive - Bee Gees
Ridiculously overdone sidechain compression is a e s t h e t i c
@fobo I should get myself some more recent Low, this is really nice.
Gig fact: the only genuine encore I've ever seen in my life was for Low at King Tut's in #Glasgow. They left the stage, the lights came up, the bouncers were telling us to clear the bar but the punters were having none of it. Stood, clapped and shouted until the band came back out then went back to pin-drop silence while they played.
Early C21 Glasgow loved Low a lot.
